sometimes warranties are a good thing. i build all my own computers so i just have to deal with the manufactuers warranty mostly. but on laptops and stuff like that yeah get the warranty.
when i bought my xbox when it first came out, they had the extended 2 year warranty for $50. i thought hmmmm.... microsoft product... sure i'll take the warranty. well my warranty was to expire this november and about a month ago, it starts randomly locking up and not reading discs. plus the third controller port died. and i take immaculate care of all my electronics, they're my babies. lol so i take it into eb games and they give me a new one. and offer me the same warranty to purchase, sure why not, and this time it was only $22 since when i bought the xbox it was $300 and now the price was $200. not a bad deal. so yeah, sometimes warranties are good investments.
