Bears vs. Jaguars.
The game had been postponed due to September 11th (it was originally scheduled for that weekend but was one of the games held back until the end of the season). I had tickets to the original game, but they were still valid for this one. This was even better than it would have been back in September. The Bears needed to win this game for a 13-3 record, the division, and a first round playoff bye. Not only did they win, but one of the most bizarre and funny plays I have ever seen happened on that day, and I was there for it.
In the third quarter, three hundred plus pound lineman Keith Traylor intercepted a pass and ran 67 yards downfield with it before being tackled. The Bears ended up winning that game, and I still remember seeing Traylor on the big screen at the stadium. When they showed his face, I started laughing uncontrollably. He looked like a deer in headlights. He wanted to get rid of the ball so bad, you could really tell. Just thinking about that play puts a smile on my face, especially since I was there to see it.
