Got an A.S. in '87. Just recently got some info on getting a B.S. from the same school I got the A.S. (gotta see how the money thing works out).
Anything I know that is of any use to me I learned since then just livin' life and paying attention (reading a lot helps). I agree that the more education you have, the better off you will be.
Proof of this was a short argument I had with a 7th grade drop out who tried to convince me that "Ahh, you don't need to know how to read. I can read the road signs and that's good enough". If she hadn't been such a bitch I would have been tempted to weep (this was two years ago, she had 6 kids by age 24).
