Wrong gas/oil mix in yard tool

When my weedwhacker ran dry last weekend, I filled up the tank and after a few seconds of running, it died and would not restart. Never had a problem before, and I had no idea what I had done wrong until I smelled the fuel in the little tank. I had actually grabbed the wrong jug and used the chainsaw gas/oil mix instead of the 32:1 the weedwhacker requires.

I never was able to start it up, so I did not get the black rich, smoke going on, if that is an indicator of how much damage I have done. My question is, now that I have drained the tank but left the remaining rich mix in the fuel line, what is the best approach to getting back on track and fixing any problems (gumming?)

Thanks
