To both Z and Lynn - you are a poet. I love the tenderness, the anger and the wisdom. I think someone else said it, but your stuff just flows, sometimes in a choppy manner, but it almost always works.
By the way, my son was born extremely premature with numerous complications and I hope that as he grows older he has the strength to handle the challenges he will face with the courage you appear to have. I am sure there have been dark times, but your spirit really seems to have carried you through. I hope you don't mind, but I copied the first poem to keep for him to read some day.
