Find a good teacher. Not necessarily for the mechanics of playing, but for muisc theory. That is the most valuable thign you can learn.. because knowing that will allow you to sight read and improvise over anything as soon as someone tell you the key. Don't listen to everyone who says get tab.... tab is useful, but NOT the way make music. To play it, yes. But those are two different things
