I agree with ghost (even though he is from Texas).

For what it's worth, I divide players into tiers. For example, in one of my leagues (touchdown only), the Tier 1 backs are Porter, Faulk, Tomlinson and Williams. Tier 2 are Holmes, Alexander and McAllister. The difference between Tier 1 players is slight, so I will take the best available.

But later, if it is a choice between two positions, I will see how much of a drop off occurs if i pick one way or the other. If all the tier 1 QB's are gone and there are 5 tier 2 QB's remaining, all of whom are about the same, I can be fairly sure that one will be available next time around so i will fill another need.

That's about all I know...

BTW, some of you will be invited to join the league next year, based upon the responses above...and oh yea...bring cash...
