A valid point, but how about the drunk, the kids, the irresponsible, the scatterbrained who leave their legally purchased weapon where their 5-year-old can reach it, the mentally unstable who slipped through the "screening process", etc.?
I agree with the earlier post that stated "Sure, people kill people, but why make it easier for them?"
