Personally, rather than holding it in, like wtfz's B) method, I reduce stimulation while staying as close as possible to the brink. It's allowed me much more intense orgasms, lasting longer and the squirting gets pretty impressive
It's a common technique to sexual tantrica's and they have a bunch of tricks to 'decensitize' your tools so you can last longer.
I heard one guy describe orgasm as 'an electrical short-circuit' wich happens if you don't exert enough control over yourself. These guys have mental/emotional orgasms, but rarely ejaculate.

Personally I'm not much for chakras but it does give me more full-body orgasms, with the waves rushing through your body.
