He obviously had
something to hide. Why do you think he stalled so long? He was using the time to hide or move whatever it was.

If you're being mugged, and a good samaratan comes along and stops the mugging, do you say, "Who are you to interfere in my mugging?" Saddam is friggin' nuts. He kills without reason. He killed his daughters' husbands. He's not the kind of person anybody wants in control of a spud gun, much less chemical or nucelar weapons.
