It's just like when the jocks discovered the mosh pit and thought it meant they could whale on people without fear of reprisal, too many people use punk as an excuse.
They think that being punk means they can act irresponsible and stupid, when actually more is required of you since you are responsible for your community.
The true punks are the ones putting out the zines, organizing concerts and setting up coffee shops.
True punk isn't about music, clothes, or a bad attitude, it is about community.
