I like my Sony Net MD player, it has 'infinite' storage, just not all at the same time

battery life is phenomenal too, and i have an MD player in the car, and the house. Plus its got a number of different codecs, has an FM tuner, weather reports etc.

I wonder about the life of the iPod, hard disks seem to start dying after a year or so of heavy use their MTBF ratings support this.. Though i guess disks replacement HD's are fairly cheap.

Each MD might only have 5 hours, but they are small and light, easy to carry around. I tend to listen to the same songs a lot, and its easy to switch moods or for people to borrow it.
