Driving In LA
i live in los angeles, california. and no matter how many times i'm on the freeway (expressway for some of you), it shocks me that some people can just pull in front of you driving way slower than you, and not have the conscience to let you pass first. i'll be driving at about 85 mph (and yes, i know the limit is 65 mph), and someone doing about 55 mph decides they'll be driving in front of me when i'm about 150 feet away. worse, they are not driving faster than they were when in the previous lane. what compells a person to do this?
one other thing, while the speed limit is posted at 65 mph, it is also stated that slower traffic stays to the right. i find myself having to use the right lanes to pass people on the left lanes, doing about 60 mph. what is up with that? they should have reminder signs on the freeway every 5 miles saying 'if the person to your right just passed you, you should be on their right', if not, these people should *insert harsh, yet proper punishment here*
well, end of rant i guess, let me know what you all think.
