Okay, two parter... and I feel dumb.

Did BuDDaH's suggestion, didn't work. But I'm sure it helped because the drivers probably were screwing around with each other. This set them straight.

THEN (drumroll)

I had the ESSID wrong. Oops. My bad. I told you I feel stupid.
