my little thing about contacts... if I could wear glasses that rested on the bridge of my nose and didn't extend past my eyes, I would, but alas, they dont make them like that. So, just so I can lay down on my side and watch TV with my head on a pillow, I wear contacts.
They sometimes slip up to the edges of my eyes, and I blink a bit to get them situated. I rub my eyes a lot more, and sometimes they come out when I do it. However, I like being able to see with complete peripheral vision. The plusses of contacts outweigh the minuses. You can wear neat looking shades with contacts too. I've never heard about polarized eye glasses, so the shades are a real bonus if you drive home against the sun.
