I just finished watching the pilot for The OC. Fox is pushing this show about as hard as they did 24 last season. The plot basically centers around this kid, Ryan, who gets busted for stealing a car with his brother. His public defender offers him a place to stay after his parents kick him out of the house. The wife is pissed because she doesn't want a menace to society in her house, but he seems to bring out stuff in their son, which the PD likes.
The show seems like a bunch of rich brats partying nonstop off of Daddy's money, so I really don't appeal to the show. I don't care to see a bunch of high school and college kids passed out drunk or walking around in a haze of bong smoke with coke falling out of their nose.
I'll give it a few more weeks to see if I form a better opinion about it, but at this moment, I really am not to big on the show. On the positive side, the ladies in the show are quite easy on the eyes.
