Thanks curveedv8! I'll have to check out the book. Violent wands do seem delectible, but one of those will probably be a latter purchase if we like some of the other things. That's a lot of money for completely unknown territory, and you hit the nail on the head about not being able to borrow one.

denim-The tens unit is a Transcutaneous Electrical Neural Stimulation Unit-here's a link to what seems to be an average priced low range one, as far as I can tell, and is similar to what we're looking at, if you want to check it out:
