I have seen very few handicapped people actually in public restrooms - but I have seen queues for ladies toilets out the door (what is it with never having enough stalls and also with women taking forrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrever to do a wee!). In those instances the handicapped stalls are used as well and I have no qualms if it comes to my turn and I have to use it.
Wqhen you gotta go, you gotta go and there's no point in leaving it standing their empty.
Generally I tend to use the 'regular' stalls though, don't know why, never really thought about it before.
