I am a huge fan of bizzarre, deep, and especially independant films. Punch Drunk Love, to me, seemed like they tried to make it deep and strange but they just didn't achieve that. I found myself watching and waiting for the story to get even the slightest bit interesting...but it never did. It was, however, nice to see Adam Sandler playing a serious role. Its fun to see actors show off their skills
