I use the handicapped stall too. I feel a bit funny about it, but I've never seen a sign that prohibits it, like a parking spot.
More importantly, I've never seen a person that needs to use the stall waiting when I got out.

I have been in a rest room where a person with a disability came in and there was a line and the people in line gave her the first spot, so she quickly had access to the handicapped stall.
