Sherry Chicken w/ White Sauce
Heres an easy one that I figured I would share with you all. Let me know how it turns out if you decide to try it.
You will need:
3 Chicken Breast (Boneless Skinless)
A quarter of Linguini (hold in had about the same as a quarter)
Garlic Powder or Fresh Garlic
3 Tablespoon of butter
Salt
Pepper
Sherry
Parmesean Cheese
1 Pack of White Sauce
1) Chop chicken into 1" cubes while boiling water for your linguini.
2) Put the 2 Tablespoons of butter in wok or frying pan and melt. Add chicken.
3) Add 1 teaspoon or garlic powder or fresh garlic, dash of pepper, dash of salt. Toss the chicken constantly from this point on.
4) For the sauce, follow instructions on pack to mix, (optional: add in parmesean cheese, and 1 tablespoon of butter). Let gradually heat on very low temperature stiring occasionally.
5) Once chicken is cooked, pour in the sherry. The heat will carmalize the flavor onto the chicken. This should be done very quickly. Repeat for more flavor.
6) Put about 1/8 - 1/4 cup of salt in the boiling water for the linguini and cook to al dente.
Optional: Mix noodles and sauce now in seperate bowl.
Make a bed of noodles, put the white sauce on top of this, then add your chicken.
Garnish with Parsley.
Serve with White Wine.
Any questions, comments, suggestions, please let me know!
Enjoy!
