A lot of good points made here, but I was referring to HANKS record not Ruths.

I was just thinking after watching last nights baseball game that the feeling would not be the same as when I was a kid and saw Hank hit that HR........AWESOME FEELING!!

Jimmy4 said it best when he stated that when Ruth played, most of the greatest players were playing in the Negro league at that time.........so would Ruth have been as good as he was??
