For as publicized as the Bermuda triangle is, there isn't an extroidinary amount of sinkings/dissapearings in the area. Ships go missing at sea every once in awhile nomatter where you go. It's just that the ones that do in the triangle get massive press.
I'm sure anybody that actually lives in the area would laugh at the question, that or get you to buy them a beer as they make up stories.
