Years ago I had a wheel-gun made for me that was called a ' Smython '. It's a S&W M686- L-Frame with a 4 in Colt Python Bbl.
I had the action done at ' Actions by T ' out of Texas . With the proper hand-loads this gun in .357/.38 Cal. would out-shoot target guns of twice it's cost up too 50 yards . After 2000 rounds plus through this pistol the lock-up is still tight and it is still as highly accurate as the day I bought it . Plus it brings ' Oohs and Awes 'at the range for it is 1/4 engraved with a high polish . If any pistol's in my collection ( I was a Hobby/Dealer for 9 years )were an extension of my penis ... it would be this one .
