Once you've played for one international team, international rules forbid switching to another team (see: Evgeni Nabokov Kazakhstan vs. Russia controversy). Also, Brett lived nearly his entire life in the United States; you forget that his father lived in Chicago when he was born. In fact, Brett has never owned a home in Canada; he currently lives in Duluth, Minnesota. Check your facts before you rip into one of the greatest players of all time.

And I agree with everyone on Carl Everett. He's a prick.
