Talking drives my wife wild. She loves to hear me tell her what I'm going to do (as I'm busy working on another area); what I'd like to do; whispering detailed versions of fantasies she has shared into her ear. I'm trying to encourage her to talk the same way a bit more, too. It's an incredible turn-on for us both.
Occasionally, the talk turns into a little role-playing, with one of us being dominant and making the other beg for something - or 'forcing' the other to do something. It makes for some real nice variety!
