I'd tend to agree with UnlikedOne (awesome avatar, by the way).
The only argument I have with the "raw power cheaply, go american" comment is that the cars won't last. You rarely see heavily-used American sports cars that are over 10 years old - they just don't last.
Still, pretty accurate summary.
