personally, I like my 'no harm, no foul' theory when it comes to spirits.
if you move into a home and have no option to leave, then take action. but if its a 'well, a ghost is there and it bugs me once a year', i ask the person to accept it and go about their business.
evicting something from anywhere, to me, is kind of wrong.
