thanks for the support.....
i have been going to a LOT of aa mtgs - just finished 90/90 days. i really didn't want to go - i am a retired bartender - did it for 15 years. i always wondered about the guy at the bar who wouldn't/couldn't drink. what the fuck was his story?!? now i'm him.
i fortunately found some like minded junkies/boozers who made me feel as comfortable as possible in the first few weeks. i always knew my work environment was replete with the shit, but turns out it's a good source of recovering addicts as well. we just don't seem to be as loud about our gig as the practicing addicts.
once again, thanks. glad i posted on this board.
