Oh man, I wish I still had my Commydore. Good times, good times. Like in the mid-90s a friend of my sister was cleaning out her old room at her parents' house before they moved, and found *her* old C64 and stuff in the closet. Of course I jumped all over that. Had tons of fun for about five months until I forgot to turn the system off before switching the plugstrip back on. Zzzzzt. Guess the old circuitry couldn't handle the sudden burst of electricity.

Dude, Pirates! rocked the casbah. All those old MicroProse games did. I tried downloading a copy of that for the PC, but it only ran in 640X480 with 16 colors, and it ran so fast the ship just SPUN in circles if you tried sailing anywhere.

I would totally buy one today, if they put them out. Of course, I have no idea where my games/joysticks are, but I'd be willing to dig them out if I had something to play them on.
