Just wanted to say good luck in your recent attempts at healing. From your post you seem like a well spoken intelligent dude. Things will only get better for you. As for those bumps, I have some and the only one who has ever noticed was my fiance; and the only reason she saw them was she was laying with her head on my stomach just looking at and playing with my dick.
