I don't support animal abuse at all. People that abuse animals are sick bastards IMO.
If he did indeed intend to kill the bird, that pisses me off.
But then again, hunting birds is practiced all over this country. And I look down on that too.
Whether he should be fined or not isn't for me to determine, but it does say something about this guy's character based on his actions, and IMO he is a lesser person for doing what he did.
