I can't seem to get more than a few feet out of the water when I either try to turn and land back in the water or I just nose dive right back into the ocean. This sucks. I've read that this is probably one of the hardest parts of the game to get the plane to fly but does anybody have any secret tips.
BTW I'm playing with just mouse and kb no game pad.

You and me both buddy, I've actually given up now, I should request a savegame file for directly after that mission.
It's nearly been a month since I last played Vice City now so I don't think I'll ever get around to it. A shame really, tis a great game but that mission is (seemingly) impossible.
