I presume you're using IP for network connectivity
If so, where are you getting your IP address? If it is DHCP, you may want to check your lease timer.
What kind of Access Point are you using? Is the AP acting as your DHCP server?
Also, next time you come out of a hibernate, run IPCONFIG and check your IP address. It's possible you have may have "lost" the IP address.
A bit more info on your setup and I'm sure we can work this out...
