Here's what some people wrote in after reading this article. Some I agree with and some I don't.

Cool! Does this mean we can now feel free to separate the students according to "sexual orientation"?

Can we now have all-straight schools funded by the taxpayers so that our straight children won't have to be exposed to the "gay" students flaunting their "lifestyle choices"?

I think that it is more than appropriate to quarantine "gay" students in schools exclusively for them. Preventing contamination of the heterosexual masses by "gays" is an admirable political and social agenda.

It is also appropriate to adhere to the religious admonition regarding "lead us not into temptation," which means to avoid those persons and places who might tempt us into sin, into abandoning the path of righteousness.

Any suggestion that homosexuality (a moral sin) is normal human sexual expression degrades moral standards. It is not – and has never been – the goal for free people in free countries to become the Sodom and Gomorrah of the 21st century.

Doesn't this also go contrary to Justice O'Connor's thinking that the schools need diversity?

It seems that liberals are the ones "turning back the clock" on civil rights with the announcement that New York City is opening a full-fledged high school for "gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender students" – the first of its kind in the nation, and probably not the last.

I thought liberals opposed "separate but equal," but here we have them advocating a school for teen-agers based on their sexual orientation at an age when they shouldn't be having any sex of any kind.

Although I am against "gay segregation" or any type of "segregation," this school may in fact provide an invaluable opportunity to test my social-science theory regarding higher levels of intelligence found in the "gay" community – I can't wait to see what the average SAT scores are for this high school.

It may end up being one of the most desirable schools in New York, such that heterosexuals may end up suing in order to be admitted on the grounds that to not let them into this school is "anti-straight" discrimination.

So, the New York City public school system is opening a "gay-only" high school, and the liberals (including the masquerading mayor) think it's a grand idea whose time is long overdue. Can you imagine the uproar of liberal indignation if a public school system tried to open a "straight-only" school? Chalk it up as yet one more example of bald-faced liberal hypocrisy, I guess.

Welcome to the United States of Depravity! "Gay" is a word that means happy – not "I'm a sex pervert." There is a reason they chose to usurp this word – it gives the false cover that they are normal, happy, content. Hogwash to the extreme ... This moral cancer is eating the soul of America alive.
