When everything is classified, then nothing is classified...
It was something to that effect, something a Supreme Court Justiced offered when the New York Times beat the Nixon Executive Branch in that issue involving "The Pentagon Papers"
I think the gist of the decision went, "just because you declare it so (classified) doesn't make it so" NYT publish what ever you want...Nixon, shame on you for using your office and National Security to shield your criminal activities.
I doubt any of that is going on but of course can't know for sure, unless I read the 28 pages....and the rest of the entire report. It all strikes me in two ways....One...the forbidden fruit. Can't have it, must make hay about trying to get it. Two...the whole report is probably a fabricated tangle of half truths, designed to exonerate federal agencies from culpibilty. Just like practically everything that comes out of our Feds.
