haven't seen it myself, but just looked it up on netflix, and promptly added it to my queue. Looks great. Here are some costomer reviews you might find helpful:
First this movie is mind blowing and the fact that the average review is 4.5 is simply an outrage! This movie is niether to long nor to short in fact let's all say it together, it's just right! I'm actually pissed that it made it's way over here because I too bought the japanese version for 50 bucks and believe me it was worth it. You can say the story has holes, it doesn't the subtitles have holes that you have to fill yourself, this movie is at the top of my list just under Battle Royale, those two are un-touchable. Rent it buy it watch it change your life.

I got a bootleg copy of this 6 month's ago. Only complaint is that it is a little to long. No plot, but we have lots of action scenes. Comedic characters. Zombies, guns, samurai. What more could you want? Definitely a movie to watch with friends. If your friends don't like this, then you need new friends.
