The last weird dream I had involved a journey that started in urban Seoul, South Korea and ended in the wilderness of Vietnam. Now I haven't ever even been to South Korea, but I have travelled a bit in Vietnam.
The journey involved all different kinds of transport like seaplanes, rowboats, steam trains, teleporting devices and walking. At one stage I was even crawling along a table covered in boxes of computer equipment, like modems and software boxes.
At the midpoint of the dream, I was at the top of a hill on a deserted island. This was the final stage of a journey that had taken me to increasingly isolated places at every stage. From the island I then travelled back to where I had started using all the same means as I had used to get there.
