| At work, the main DNS server is an ancient IBM 386 desktop running some form of UNIX.  Now, the backup servers are modern machines, but there seems to be a kind of superstition about the primary - every time it's been taken down to go offline permanently, the backup DNS servers have all failed.  We put the 386 back online and everything smoothes out.
