Illusions and Delusions
Illusions and Delusions
A little sleeping beauty
Dreams her fantasy
When she finally wakes up
She'll see reality
This small world of hers
Will never be to full
What's the princess going to do
Her dreams are getting dull
All these delusions
What's causing her illusions?
Her misty world is crashing down
She hangs on tightly to her crown
The princess sits upon her throne
Not knowing she is all alone
One day she'll wake up
And pour reality in her cup
The jesters left
Her Castles cold
As she sits
Her heart grows cold
A caring prince
Sees her face
He wonders of
her mystic place
All these delusions
What's causing her illusions?
As her world comes crashing down
She refuses to give up her crown
The princess sits upon her throne
Thinking she is all alone
One day she'll wake up
To taste reality in her cup
Her prince is waiting patiently
Outside the castle walls
The gate is locked up tight
While her royal kingdom falls
The prince climbs the castle wall
He breaks through her heart of stone
The mighty princess has been defeated
She gives up her golden throne
Ending all delusions
No more illusions
Her mystic world has crummbled down
In the rubble lies her crown
She has given up her throne
Now she knows she's not alone
She has finally woken up
Reality is in her cup
