When you post to an old threat, it pops up to the top! So it's sorta like a new thread. Cathartic it may be, but kinda pointless.
Not saying anything bad about you, obe. I post new threads in the computer forum all the time, when a search would have been all demanded. I'm an idiot, I know.
Just to add, I hate:
-cats who throw up on my furniture
-springs from the couch poking me in the back
-standing ovations at shows that aren't *that* good.
-going through life feeling like I don't get it
-people who get it
And things I love:
-the feeling of a new haircut. +10 for self-esteem
-fresh wax-job on car. +10 horsepower
