The link between aluminium and Alzheimer's is merely that aluminium has been found in the plaques in Alzheimer's brains. There's no evidence that I know of to suggest that the aluminium actually caused the plaques.
Sadly, fit people have a lower threshold for sweating (you've tuned your body to control its temperature really well) which is the problem you're having. But so long as the sweating is localised, you should be fine to use something on the area to stop it - seek advice from a doctor to get something based on aluminium chloride.
There are stronger substances - you've read about botulinum toxin; there's also glycopyrronium bromide - but I'd consult your doctor about those and stick with the aluminium salts if they work.
