I've been wearing my softlens 66 torics for 3 years now. I wear each pair for a month, then throw them out and open a new pair.
Each night I take them out, rinse them with a multipurpose cleaning/rinsing/protien removal solution. Then they get soaked overnight. In the morning I take them out, rub 'em a little, rinse them and pop them in. Now I don't have to worry about it for the rest of the day. Glasses are so much more of a pain I can't believe people wear them.
My contacts are a touch more expensive because they are toric, to correct for my astigmatism (in each eye). I ordered two new boxes from Sears yesterday. Sears, by the way, price matched what I found from online contact sellers, but Sears didn't make me pay shipping. WOW!
They were 31.95/box. Each box has 6 contacts in it, and I need one box per eye. So 6 months worth was 64 dollars. Not too bad.
