I'm running Mandrake 9.1 on 2 machines at home and RH 7 on my file server.
I tried installing Gentoo on one of my machines. Got X up and running, installed Fluxbox, decided to install KDE, typed "emerge kde".
2 and a half days later it was still "emerging kde". So I gave up and slapped Mandrake back on it.
I like the idea of Gentoo, custom compiled for my hardware, but I don't want to have to compile for a week.
