Ummm no. The original audience was a Canadian one. No Canadian would think for a moment that there is a Polar Bear Hunt in Toronto (Scarborough maybe but not TO) or that our Parliment buildings are made of ice...
It was funny to us because Americans are just so much fun to laugh at...
What was really hilarious was when the US media tried to turn the tables and sent up their reporters to Canada to ask questions on our streets:
Reporter: "Our president, Martin Sheen, will be visiting Toronto soon. Do you have any comments for him/"
Canadian on the street: "Martin Sheen is an actor. George Bush is president..."
That was funny...
