I did it once and once only. We were all 20-ish and she left him for me and I left my gf at the time for her. It was mad love. And... it lasted about a year.
The aftermath? I haven't talked to her in about 10 years, neither has he. My first gf... she and I are still close friensd. He and I are still close friends, but there has been a weird undercurrent ever since and, mind you, this was 14 years ago.
Would I do it again? We were young, she was a fabulous piece of ass (absolutely every guy I knew wanted her and she wanted me! woo!) and for quite a while, we thought we were in love. Yes, I'd do THAT one over again, in a heartbeat... I learned a lot of good lessons as a result. But, as a consequence of those lessons... never again.
There are wayyyy too many single hot chicks out there; why go after the ones who are already with someone? Even if she's looking to get out, you can just bet that when she's tired of you, she's not going to break up with you til she's already with someone else. How's that gonna feel? I've got better things to do with my time...
