Boss of Bossa Nova Bites
I just went to see Joćo Gilberto: Boss of Bossa Nova at the hollywood bowl, and it was *horrible*. Now I'm hardly an expert on bossa nova but, I'm pretty sure that this wasn't it. He played solo, just him and a guitar. No drums, no strings, no beat. Oh and he mumbled. Anyone else go to this thing? Can anyone point me to some good Bossa Nova mp3s (preferably free ones)
Anyway, sorry about bitching, but I just had to get this off my chest.
