I keep it all shaved, and shaving balls is surprisingly not dangerous. I have never cut myself down there, and I'm *not* careful. I shave the whole package, pubes, balls, and all, in about 45 seconds (usually every other day).
A friend of mine once tried to use an electric to shave down there, his balls did bleed *ouch*
