Hondas are exactly what they're advertised as. Economy cars.
They're not racecars. They're not made for "Taking corners". They're not made for anything other than driving your ass around town. Why else would they come with 75hp at the wheels stock? Have you tried cornering in your Civic Hatch? Those things get more body roll than my friends truck. Planning to stiffen your springs? Get stiffer springs, it'll lower your car. Then what happens...you scratch your car on every little bump. You go over speedbumps sideways. I see it every day.
Maybe over there in St. Louis Civics aren't as butchered as they are here. But it's come to my attention that anyone that mods Civics DESTROYS THEM. They're not fast cars, but everyone that drives one thinks they are. If you get your GSR engine in there successfully without screwing something up, congratulations. But it's not a Civic anymore is it? You're wasting your money. Engine swaps are expensive, and they take a lot of time, assuming you're going to do it yourself. If you pay someone to do it, expect to pay out the ass in labor costs cause it's not an easy job.
Good luck, guy. If I see you posting on here and your Civic looks decent, good. If it looks like ass, i'll gladly go to St. Louis to drill a hole in the gas tank and light a match and piss on the ashes.
