Billege:I want to post negative feedback, because he vehemently doesn't want me to. That's the kind of person I am. Also, I'm into the performance more so than the looks, so spending a ton of money on something that does nothing to improve my driving experience seems silly to me. Your right it's his car and he can do with it what he wants to. By the same token, it's my opinion and I'll do what I want to with it. I'll respect his work if it's well done whether it's a played out look or not. I, however, see far too many folks buy Honda's thinking it will be easy to make a street rod out of it because of the plethora of aftermarket parts for it, but they half ass the job. Parts don't fit well, paint has orange peel, and it never runs because of shoddy mechanical work. Like I said, if a good job is done, I'll respect the work put into it even if I personally don't like the way it looks. And yes BoCo, I'm sure you aren't some little kid who is planning to do a half ass job of it, but does anybody ever plan to do a half ass job?
evo_schen: I'm an equal oportunity offender. Rustangs and other muscle cars are fair game too, if they don't have the performance to back it up. Performance mods are going to be done over and over, because there are only so many routes to good HP and handling. Glamour mods get played out because people get tired of looking at the same old thing over and over again. Bright paint, lights and neon everywhere, and a huge spoiler at the back of a FWD car(??? I have yet to understand the logic behind this one) are so "been there, done that".
